I’ve used a lot of different social media marketing tools in my 10 years as a social media manager. My all-time favorite tool for publishing, community management and reporting is Sprout Social, but here are five new-to-me tools that I’ve come to love this year. I think you’ll like them too.
AdEspresso‘s Auto Optimization tool makes it easy to get the most out of your Facebook ad efforts. Their Audience Inspector provides invaluable details about specifically who is converting that Facebook’s ads manager does not provide.
The last thing I want to see is a typo in a status update I’ve crafted for a brand. Grammarly is a fantastic tool that follows you around the Internet and makes sure everything you type is mistake-free.
I use Sprout Social to publish content to every channel except Instagram. For Instagram publishing, there is no better tool than Schedugram. You can simply schedule your content to publish and it actually publishes it—unlike other scheduling tools that just send you reminders to log in to Instagram to publish.
SocialRank gives great insights into your Instagram and Twitter followers. You can sort them by most influential or most engaged—helpful when doing influencer and advocate identification. There are also a variety of other filters you can apply to learn more about your audience.
Sociograph is similar to SocialRank, but it provides details about your Facebook page. You can sort fans by engagement—great if you want to celebrate top fans. You can also quickly sort all status updates ever posted by total engagements—an easy way to find great content ideas that you may have forgetten about over the years.
I hope you find these helpful. Is there a tool you love that’s not on my list? I’d love to hear about it—send me a tweet!
