Just like football, LinkedIn requires teamwork and creative, strategic plays that focus on getting you to the end goal (or end zone). If you’re just starting to incorporate LinkedIn into your social media marketing efforts, use these three tips to achieve a LinkedIn campaign touchdown.
1. Create Awareness
Like any marketing campaign, you want to start by building awareness of your LinkedIn business page. This starts with developing on-brand, engaging and valuable content that relates to your business or industry. Don’t focus on frequency, but instead focus on consistent and high-quality posts.
Go ahead, bring in your whole team to help build brand awareness around your LinkedIn campaign. Your employees are your brands biggest supporters and they most likely have a lot of connections already developed. Encourage your team to share and engage with the awesome content you’re producing.

2. Promote Your Business
A successful LinkedIn campaign wouldn’t be complete without an advertising strategy. Use ads to achieve your goals, whether that’s brand awareness, website traffic, lead generation, engagement, job opportunities, conversions or video views. You get to decide your budget, audience and goal.
3. Measure Success
Let the metrics tell you how well your LinkedIn campaign is performing. By measuring the success of your campaign, you can evaluate what worked or didn’t work to develop an even stronger strategy moving forward. This step is key in continued success of your current and future LinkedIn campaigns.
If you’re interested in gaining a presence on LinkedIn, give these three tips a try and start networking with people that matter the most.
