How To Create A Snapchat Snapcode For Your Website

Brands can now create a unique Snapchat Snapcode for their website that will open inside Snapchat when scanned with the app’s camera.

And creating a Snapcode for your website could not be any easier. There are two ways to do it—via the Snapchat app or via Snapchat’s web editor. Just follow the simple instructions for both below.

To create a Snapcode from inside the Snapchat app

1. Go to Settings
2. Click Snapcodes
3. Click Create Snapcode
4. Enter your website’s URL
5. Click Create

You can also add an image to your Snapcode. The app will automatically pull up images from your website for to select from or you can choose to upload a photo from your phone’s camera roll. You final Snapcode will then be saved to your camera roll for later use.

Pro Tip: If you want more control—something I know a lot of brands love—as to how your Snapcode will look, I recommend you first create a custom image that you save to your camera roll before beginning this process.

To create a Snapcode from the Snapchat web editor

1. Go to https://scan.snapchat.com
2. Log in with your Snapchat username and password
3. Enter your website’s URL
4. Click Make A Snapcode

You can add an image if you’d like. You’ll be prompted to upload one from your computer. Once you’re done, you can download your Snapcode to your desktop (or wherever you save your downloads).

Again, if you want to customize the look of your Snapcode, create the image ahead of time so you have it ready to upload when Snapchat prompts you to do so.

Give this Snapcode a scan to test it out! It’ll take you to Firebelly’s home page.
