Firebelly’s 2020 Year In Review

Good Vibes Only neon sign

Nothing about 2020 was business as usual and it was a very hard year for everyone in different ways. Why even talk about it? Well, we survived the year that shall no longer be named and it feels wrong not to acknowledge how we’ve changed as an agency and our accomplishments in a year that was constantly changing and challenging us at every turn.

Awards are always nice.

We’re a small but mighty team and we’re trying to be better about celebrating our achievements. Social media marketing is all we do and word of mouth is king. That’s why it’s so exciting to be recognized for our work.

Firebelly is ranked the #3 social media agency globally by the research firm Clutch. Clutch rankings are based on client reviews obtained via phone interviews. Now that’s saying something.

We were also named one of the top 15 social media agencies by Chief Marketer, a leading publisher of content, recognition programs, and training events for Fortune 1000 marketers.

We’re a people-first business, always have been.

And that starts with the people we work with. We hired some fantastically smart and creative team members this year from around the country. And like a lot of digital companies, we went 100% remote and are Zoom pros. Get to know our team!

We have to give a huge thanks to our incredible partners because they keep us running day-to-day and help us continue to innovate and be creative.

We obviously wouldn’t be where we are without our clients. We love working with unique clients, big and small, across various industries. When the world came to a stop in March 2020, we continued to focus relentlessly on client satisfaction and support. Our first priority is to support our clients and help them succeed; we’re thrilled we were able to do that against the odds.

Agility and having open lines of communication and collaboration are our specialties and the uncertainty of 2020 helped remind us why we work this way. Being able to pivot on a dime has never been more important for brands and we are proud of the work we were able to accomplish focusing on keeping our clients happy versus a bottom line.

Firebelly Marketing is growing.

Our revenue has grown 25% year over year and we’ve carved out niches in the beverage, food, and beauty industries.

Our approach to social media has always been integrated with both organic and paid content, but we realized our clients needed more and we obliged. We added photography and videography creative services in 2020 in an effort to help our clients tell their stories more effectively. If you read our social media predictions for 2021, you know how much people are consuming engaging video content, and having fresh visual content is essential.

We’ve got a lot planned for 2021, including the launch of our podcast. We’ll be having honest conversations about social media marketing with business owners and thought leaders over some booze. More details on this will be coming soon!
