Vedant Saboo: Delivering The True Flavor Of Fruits

Vedant Saboo

People dream of creating a brand but have yet to discover what impassions them. Building a brand starts with an idea and a mission that you nurture and grow. What fuels your passion?

Armed with a concept, Vedant Saboo and his partner were inspired to create a product with a mission to make every day feel like a tropical getaway. Although ice cream is popular in the US, they realized no tropical fruit flavors were available on store shelves. However, in places like India or Latin America, fruit ice cream is the norm because it's regarded as more premium and natural. After testing some flavors out on classmates and getting positive reviews, Frutero Ice Cream was born. They realized the gap in the market and how fruit flavors could be marketed and sold to the mixing pot of cultures in the US, bringing a taste of home to the states. By sourcing fruits from across the globe, they've created the freshest, most premium, exotic flavors like no other.

On this episode of the Firebelly Social Show, Duncan Alney talks with Vedant Saboo, Co-founder and President of Frutero Ice Cream, about creating a unique food and beverage brand that's on a mission. Vedant talks about the inspiration that led him to create Frutero Ice Cream, how they carefully select flavors and source fruits, what ideas are on the horizon for Frutero, and how he achieves a work-life balance.
